This publication was developed under the EU Comenius project DATAUSE – Using Data for Improving School and Student Performance (2010-2012), aimed to build the capacity of school leaders and staff to establish learning communities where data are used to improve educational outcomes. It introduces Data Use Professional Development Course which has been designed by project partners to address the documented lack of capacity of school leaders and staff to effectively use data to improve student outcomes. There is presented Data Use theory of action, DATAUSE Course learning goals, course organization and curriculum.
