The manual is developed under the project Nordic+ Senior golden examples (2008-2010). The publication presents the project, an overview of senior educational policy in partner countries – Finland, Iceland, Lithuania and Norway, results of performed survey “Motivating the aged to participate in lifelong learning” in 2009, a description of pilot courses, developed basing on survey data and good practices and examples of senior training in partner counties. This publication is meant for anybody who wants to become familiar with the practices in other countries, utilize them and learn from them.
