Participants have learned about:<br \/>\n\u2022 research carried out in 2011\u20132013, concerning development of creativity in Lithuania;<br \/>\n\u2022 new methodology developed for different type of secondary education schools and will be able to experience it during mini-workshop;<br \/>\n\u2022 creative initiatives implemented in different type of schools in Vilnius;<br \/>\n\u2022 state policies on promoting creativity as life long learning goal and main strategy.<\/p>\n<p>The study visit was financed by the EU Lifelong Learning Programme. Workshop was devoted to adult learners, interested in personal and professional development, continuous self-improvement, eager to learn new learning strategies, innovative methods and searching for new ideas.\u00a0The programme was intended to provide content materials and instructions that will enable participants to think critically about contemporary issues. It means that participants learned to think thoughtfully, carefully, coherently, consistently about complex problems comprised of multiple elements and varied solutions. The programme revolved around the topic of Contemporary Issues. From this central theme a number of sub-themes were presented for group deliberation.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop was financed by the EU Lifelong Learning Programme. The participants of the visit have met the delegates of the most representative Lithuanian organizations that attend to formation a guidance of immigrate people, with the objective to know the system in act and its evolution in response of the entrance in the UE.<br \/>\nThe visit was organized while implementing the Leonardo da Vinci VETPRO (Vocational Education Training Programme for Professionals) program &#8220;EuroCompass: evaluation and validation of acquired competences to promote the mobility and the integration of people come from extra-EU countries&#8221;, where Modern Didactics Centre together with UAB \u201eMEC Baltic\u201c (Mediterranean Consultancy in Baltic Region) and Kaunas Vocational Training Centre for Business Specialists participated as a partner of EUROFORM RFS (Italy). Participants have learned about creative methods and tools used in teaching and learning, new approaches to students&#8217; assessment in schools, development of school culture,<br \/>\ninnovative programmes and projects at schools, school community cooperation models. Minister G. Steponavicius told about Lithuanian higher education system and reform of science and studies; he stressed the importance of the quality in higher education, accessibility of studies, efficient use of resources, principles of fair competition between higher schools and students. During the visit they have met with servants of Special Investigation Service, Anticorruption Committee of the Lithuania Republic Seimas, General Election Committee, General Committee of Official Ethics, Ministry of the Interior, Ministry of Education and Science. Delegation also visited Anyksciai A. No. 94313-CP-1-2001-1-LT-COMENIUS-C2.1). The course was developed in cooperation with Youth Career and Advising Center.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">5 teachers from Greece, Spain, Germany, Turkey participated in the course. Course participants shared their experience of career education and guidance in their institutions and countries. Lecturers presented Modern Didactics Centers&#8217; project MIND and products developed during this project: integrated and specialized programmes &#8220;Critical thinking for career&#8221;. Guest lecturer of the Summer school Eigil Kjaergaard (Denmark) delivered the workshop &#8220;The Role of NGO in Democratic Society&#8221; and presented strategies of effective cooperation and team building.<br \/>\nThe Summer school was supported by Open Society Fund-Lithuania and Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania.
