Pirkanmaa Westcome Adult Education Unit
 

The Pirkanmaa Westcome Adult Education Unit providing wide-ranging, modern and dynamic adult education in the West Tampere Region to approximately 1000 students every year. It offering a choice of around 100 different courses taking place daytimes, evenings and weekends. The Pirkanmaa Westcome Adult Education Unit runs vocational, further education and labour market training courses as well as courses for company personnel. It organises apprenticeship studies in the region.
The Pirkanmaa Westcome Adult Education Unit also participating in many national and international projects as a partner or coordinator.

Kerttuli Mattila



Acting Adult Education Manager, has worked in Pirkanmaa Westcome for over 10 years, taking care e.g. for national and international projects, quality work and staff development. She has graduated from the University of Helsinki.
Kerttuli Mattila acted in the project as national coordinator till 2011
 

Tiina Härmä



Adult Education Assistant, has worked in Pirkanmaa Westcome for over 10 years. Originally she was doing administrational work, but has worked with international projects for several years. She has been studying commercial subjects and adult education.

 

Heikki Haavisto

 


Manager of the Development and Adult Education unit. He has several years experience in rural development.

 

Mirjami Kuukka

 

Educational planner, ICT-teacher, has worked for Pirkanmaa Westcome for 15 years. She has been responsible with ICT and business courses and has worked with national and international projects for several years.
